The 5-Day Marangu Route is the shortest and most direct path to the summit. It offers hut accommodation, making it more comfortable during the rainy or cold seasons.
However, because there is no extra acclimatization day, the summit success rate is lower compared to the 6-day version. Best suited for strong, fit trekkers or those experienced with high altitude.
